Overview
Branded links use your own custom domain instead of a public short domain, helping you create professional, trustworthy, and memorable short URLs. They strengthen your brand identity, improve user confidence, and often achieve higher click-through rates compared to generic short links.
With SPRL, you can create branded links using your own verified custom domain. Once your domain is connected, it becomes available whenever you create a new short URL.
What Are Branded Links?
A branded link replaces a generic short domain with your own business domain or subdomain.
Example:
- Default Link:
https://sprl.me/AbC123 - Branded Link:
https://go.yourcompany.com/summer-sale
Because visitors immediately recognize your brand, branded links improve trust, increase brand visibility, and encourage more clicks.

Troubleshooting
My custom domain does not appear in the list.
Only verified and active domains are available while creating short URLs. If your domain is still pending verification, allow time for DNS propagation.
Can I change the domain later?
No. Once a short URL has been created, its domain cannot be changed. Create a new short URL if you want to use a different branded domain.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a custom domain?
Yes. Branded links require a verified custom domain connected to your SPRL account.
Are premium domains considered branded links?
Premium domains provide short, memorable links and can be used as an alternative when you don't have your own custom domain. For complete brand ownership, using your own domain is recommended.
Can I create unlimited branded links?
Yes. Once your domain is configured, you can continue creating branded links based on your account limits and plan.
Tip: Test every short URL before sharing it publicly to ensure the destination and redirect settings work as expected.
