Overview
Once your custom domain has been successfully verified, you can use it to create branded short URLs throughout the SPRL platform. Custom domains help increase brand recognition, improve customer trust, and create professional links for marketing campaigns, emails, SMS, WhatsApp, QR Codes, and social media.
This article explains how to select, use, and manage your custom domains when creating short URLs.
Before You Begin:
Your custom domain must already be verified and active. If you haven't connected a domain yet, complete the custom domain setup first.
Using a Custom Domain
- Navigate to Dashboard → URL Shortener.
- Select your preferred custom domain from the Short Domain dropdown.
- Enter the destination URL.
- Optionally create a custom keyword.
- Configure any additional options such as temporary links, password protection, or smart redirects.
- Click Shorten URL.
Your branded short URL will now use the selected custom domain instead of a default SPRL domain.

Troubleshooting
My domain does not appear in the list
Only verified and active domains are available while creating short URLs. Check the status of your domain from Dashboard → My Domains.
Can I change the domain after creating a short URL?
No. The domain becomes part of the short URL and cannot be modified later. Create a new short URL if you need to use a different domain.
My branded URL is not working
Verify that your domain is active, SSL has been configured successfully, and the DNS records have not been modified after verification.
