Exporting Analytics Reports

Export reports for clients and internal teams.

Overview

SPRL allows you to export analytics reports for offline analysis, reporting, presentations, and record keeping. Exporting your analytics makes it easy to share campaign performance with your team, compare historical data, or perform additional analysis using spreadsheet or business intelligence tools.

You can export filtered reports based on your selected campaign, date range, and other available filters to ensure you download only the data you need.

Good to Know:
Analytics exports respect the filters you've applied before generating the report, making it easier to download targeted datasets instead of your entire analytics history.

Accessing the Export Feature

  1. Sign in to your SPRL account.
  2. Navigate to Dashboard → Analytics Intelligence.
  3. Select the campaign or tracking folder.
  4. Choose the desired date range.
  5. Apply any required filters.
  6. Click the Export option to download the report.

What Can Be Exported?

Depending on the report you're viewing, exported analytics may include:

Report Typical Information Included
Campaign Performance Campaign summary and visitor activity.
Traffic Reports Traffic trends and engagement data.
Top Countries Visitor distribution by country.
Top Cities Visitor distribution by city.
Top Referrers Traffic source information.
Device Analytics Device, browser, and operating system statistics.
Revenue & Conversion Reports Tracked business events when Event Tracking is configured.

Applying Filters Before Exporting

Applying filters before exporting helps generate smaller, more relevant reports and improves export performance.

Available filters may include:

  • Campaign or tracking folder.
  • Date range.
  • Country or city.
  • Traffic source.
  • Device type.

Always verify your filters before exporting to ensure the downloaded report contains the information you expect.

Export Workflow

Step Description
Select Campaign Choose the campaign or tracking folder to analyse.
Choose Date Range Select the reporting period you want to export.
Apply Filters Refine the report using available filters.
Generate Report Review the analytics before exporting.

Export Limits

To ensure reliable performance when working with large datasets, SPRL applies the following limits:

Limit Details
Maximum Date Range Up to 1 year per report.
Maximum Export Size Up to 50,000 records per download.

If your analytics exceed these limits, narrow the date range or apply additional filters before exporting.

Using Exported Reports

Exported reports can be used for a variety of business purposes, including:

  • Campaign performance reviews.
  • Management reporting.
  • Marketing presentations.
  • Historical performance comparisons.
  • Internal data analysis.
  • Business intelligence and dashboard integration.

Tips for Large Reports

If you're working with a large amount of analytics data:

  • Export one campaign at a time.
  • Split long reporting periods into smaller date ranges.
  • Apply filters to reduce the number of exported records.
  • Archive important reports regularly for future reference.

Best Practices

  • Review the report before exporting.
  • Apply only the filters you need.
  • Export reports regularly for long-running campaigns.
  • Compare exports from different time periods to identify trends.
  • Keep archived reports for historical analysis.
  • Combine exported analytics with conversion data for deeper business insights.

Troubleshooting

My export contains too much data

Reduce the selected date range or apply additional filters before exporting the report.

I can't export all my analytics at once

Reports support a maximum date range of one year and up to 50,000 records per export. If your dataset exceeds these limits, divide it into multiple exports.

My exported report doesn't contain the expected data

Verify that you've selected the correct campaign, reporting period, and filters before generating the export.

Frequently Asked Questions
