Transfer a Domain to SPRL

Overview

If you already own a domain or subdomain that you want to use for branded short links, you can connect it to SPRL by updating its DNS configuration. Once the required DNS records have been configured, SPRL will verify the domain, enable SSL, and make it available for creating branded links.

No domain registration transfer is required. You continue managing your domain with your existing domain registrar or DNS provider while using it with SPRL.

Good to Know:
SPRL connects to your existing domain through DNS records only. Ownership of your domain remains with your current domain registrar.

Before You Begin

Before connecting an existing domain to SPRL, ensure you have:

Click Add Custom Domain.

Enter your domain name.
If applicable, enable Yes, This is empty short domain (Only for links).
Save the configuration.
Copy the DNS records generated by SPRL.
Update your DNS records with your DNS provider.
Wait for DNS propagation.
Allow SPRL to verify the domain and automatically enable SSL.
