Email Verification API

Learn how to integrate the SPRL Email Verification API to validate single emails or bulk email lists securely within your applications.

Coming Soon...

Overview

The Email Verification API allows developers to verify email addresses directly from their applications without using the web dashboard. It is ideal for validating email addresses during user registration, contact imports, CRM integrations, lead generation, and other automated workflows.

The API supports both single email verification and bulk email verification over HTTPS using API authentication.

Good to Know:
Every API request requires your Client ID (request payload) and API Key (Authorization header). API usage consumes verification credits from your account.

Accessing the API

Navigate to Dashboard → API → API Keys to generate or manage your API credentials.

Your API credentials include:

Credential Purpose
Client ID Included in the request payload to identify your account.
API Key Sent in the Authorization request header.

Available API Endpoints

Endpoint Purpose
Single Email Verification Verify an individual email address.
Bulk Email Verification Upload a file containing multiple email addresses.
Bulk Email File Verification Process uploaded verification files.
Verification File Status Check the progress of a bulk verification job.
Download Verification Result Download completed verification reports.
Stop File Verification Cancel an active verification process.
Email Verifier Credit Balance Retrieve your remaining verification credits.
Verification Credit Usage History View API credit consumption history.

Authentication

All API requests must be made over HTTPS and require authentication.

Requirement Details
Protocol HTTPS
Authorization Header Bearer API Key
Request Payload Client ID
Content Types application/json or application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Typical API Workflow

  1. Generate an API Key from Dashboard → API → API Keys.
  2. Authenticate your API request.
  3. Submit a single email or upload a bulk verification file.
  4. Monitor verification progress if processing a bulk file.
  5. Retrieve the verification results.
  6. Download reports or use the response within your application.

Common Use Cases

  • Validate email addresses during user registration.
  • Verify customer data before importing into a CRM.
  • Clean marketing lists automatically.
  • Validate leads collected from web forms.
  • Integrate email verification into internal applications.
  • Automate bulk email verification workflows.

Monitoring API Activity

The Email Verification dashboard provides dedicated sections for monitoring API usage.

Menu Description
Dashboard → API → API Campaigns View API verification jobs.
Dashboard → API → API Calls Review recent API requests.
Dashboard → API → API Keys Create, manage, or revoke API credentials.
Dashboard → Billing → Recharge History Review credit purchases and transactions.

Best Practices

  • Store your API Key securely and never expose it publicly.
  • Use HTTPS for every API request.
  • Validate email addresses before storing them in your database.
  • Monitor your available verification credits regularly.
  • Rotate API Keys periodically as part of your security policy.
  • Handle API errors gracefully within your application.

Troubleshooting

Why am I receiving an authentication error?

Verify that your API Key is included in the Authorization header using the Bearer format and that the correct Client ID is included in the request.

Why is my bulk verification still processing?

Large verification files may require additional processing time. Check the status using the Verification File Status endpoint or from the dashboard.

Why did my request fail?

Ensure your request uses a supported content type, includes all required parameters, and is sent over HTTPS.

Where can I check my remaining credits?

Use the Email Verifier Credit Balance endpoint or view your available credits from the dashboard.
